bphynes Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 It's a long story... but... has anyone seen any generic "wedding-themed" trackable coins? This has come up rather last minute, and is a small-quantity sort of thing. Thanks for any suggestions. Quote
Bunya Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 (edited) Perhaps my joke didn't translate . . . better delete it. Edited April 24, 2007 by Bunya Quote

MustangJoni Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I believe Steve with Hogwild stuff might be able to help you. His caching name is southbayday. Quote

Droo Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Ooh, you guys are terrible.... I know of the "get out of jail free" coin. Quote
Team Honeybunnies Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Heh, heh. Back on topic though, we'd have been interested in something like this last fall... Maybe a little bride and groom? Engrave names and anniversary date? If any minters think this sounds good I call dibs on the idea . Hmmm... a coin even the wife could love . Quote
Mama Cache Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Yes! I Actually do know a place! Bigdaycoins. I think you might find what you are looking for there. Quote
Team Honeybunnies Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 Okay, now I really wish I'd known about those. Pretty cool! Quote
WWC-World's Worst Cacher Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 The Bigdaycoins website is still a work in process and will be launched in a week or 10 days. While the coins are primarily targeted at non cachers, we could easily add tracking numbers, the coins can be customized without a die fee, so they are ideal for smaller quantities. Quote

Just wanted to add that there are some more really cool designs they just aren't up on the site yet. Good thing I already held a "what was our wedding anniversary?" contest, it's all over Steve's site! I have a feeling my nights are about to get busy with designing again. Quote
Cap'n YB Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 This is excellent! My wife and I are expecting twins in June and would love to have trackable geocoins out there with their names on them. Additionally, we are going to have host a potlach to commemorate their birth. The potlach event will be held in conjunction with the Winter Solstice which we will commemorate at the Woodhenge at Cahokia Mounds, IL. Quote
nolefan9399 Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 well my new coin will be coming out soon and it is wedding themed. Here is a pic. Landsharkz are doing this one and should be ready here in a few weeks. Duane Quote
