+DustyWheels
Has anyone found a map-sourcing program to enable downloading of coordinates to a Mac? We're newbies to geocaching (and loving it!), and we've fgured out how to do this from our PC, but would really like to be able to do it from our MacBook Pro to our Garmin GPSMAP 60csx. We have tried the GPS Babel 1.3.3.dmg, but cannot get it to work. Both the GPSr and the computer are relatively new.....Help!! Quote Link to comment

+tywuest
I am also new to geocaching and have a MBP. I have done some research and it looks like we are out of luck. I guess Garmin is going to release software in the near future. For now it seems we are stuck in the pc world. Quote Link to comment

+admo1972
I have a Mac Pro (the desktop), but haven't found any need to use GPS software (yet). However, I do have XP installed, so I am sure that I can always use PC software when booting into XP via Boot Camp to do any GPS software. You can get and install XP on your MBP if you wish. I got XP Pro for about $100 from viosoftware.com. Edited April 23, 2007 by admo1972 Quote Link to comment
+ZoomLens
I have the same problem and actually use XP under parallels, but I have also used MacCaching, which is a free program available from http://www.maccaching.com/ Hope this helps. Quote Link to comment
