vespax
I'm curious to see who might be watching my caches. I seem to remember a way to view who was on the watch list but can't figure it out this time around. Anyone know how to see the players on a cache watch list? BTW - I would ask the larger GC community, but then where would my loyalty be to you folks! Quote Link to comment
erik88l-r
I've lost some weight, so hopefully are no longer part of the larger geocaching community. There's no way to see who's watching your cache. If you're a premium member and have a members only cache you can see who viewed the page, but that's it as far as I know. It's a pretty safe bet that if I publish your cache and you see one person's watching it immediately after publication that it's me who's doing the watching. ~erik~ Quote Link to comment
vespax
I should request that in the feature request topic then. Would be interesting. I guess I saw that in my members only cache and I got it mixed up with normal caches. I didn't know Erik lurked in our thread very much. Nice to have you around! Thanks. P.S. Anyone want to admit to watching any of my caches? Quote Link to comment
Discombob
I'm watching Steps to Academia, as i like to see people suffer Sometimes I watch a new catch, and then remove it when I find it, so i might still have lucky 7 on my watchlist. Not yet for Mouse hunt. Quote Link to comment
Goofster
I don't have a watch on any of yours at the moment, vespax. I will generally place a cache on my watch list once I've found it, but only if I've particularly enjoyed either the hunt or the cache site itself. Every few weeks I do some culling of the list, just to keep my email inbox manageable. I am watching one or two I haven't found yet, though, just to gauge the experiences of other players. P.S. I'm not sure I'm in favour of making the watch lists "public", even if only to the cache/bug/coin owner. A little bit of anonymity adds to the fun of it all!
