+BornAdventures
Does anyone know anything about this geocache... Who planted it, is it listed on GC.com? I found the link on the Dinokeng website, but could not find any other info. I'm very intrigued. Quote Link to comment
+Tricky Vicky & Mickey
Had a look and came up with the following - it is called Dinokeng Cache GCRBX6. I think the cache owner was csummers and the cache has been found three times. CacheFan was the last person to find the cache and has included a contact name and number in his log. Hope this helps. +BornAdventures
Thanks TVM Another cache added to my 'Must do' list... I'm afraid that I'll never get through all of them. Quote Link to comment
cache-fan
Dinokeng is really not visited often, a bit off the beaten track. However the area should attrack more caches, just today was another newspaper clip that the Big5 are now finaly to be introduced in the newly setup Nature and Conservation area. Its worth a drive around Rust de Winter etc. The cache itself is on a private small game farm which I think will in future also be part of the greater Dinokeng Big5. Give the owner a call, he is more than willing to accomodate you, don't drive 150k from JHB without an appointment. Quote Link to comment
+BornAdventures
Thanks cache-fan I will definitely make the trip sometime. I wanted to post a waymark of this Newspaper story that ran today which is quite close to the Dinokeng cache. Don't worry... All that was hurt was his ego Quote Link to comment
