+B1gbear Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 I'm sure we have all had experience of GPS devices trying to send us the wrong way around a one way system or to drive along a pedestrian only route, well I just received what I think is a pretty extreme example - you may like to check this out for yourself : 1. Open Google 2. Click on 'maps'. 3. Click on 'Get Directions'. 4. Put in 'New York, New York' to 'Paris, France'. 5. Read line 23 Quote

+badger Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 (edited) I tend to follow the arrow regardless, it has meant walking/swimming through ponds and/or lakes, bush whacking 500 feet or more even when there is a prefectly good path 30 feet to my side, and finally learning to abseil without ropes! Ouch! Edited April 17, 2007 by badger Quote
