+Foothills Drifter
Howdy...... I have a lot of TB's and a few GENERIC GEOCOINS. The Generic Geocoins have a hole in them. Well...you guessed it. Is it OK to 'chain' the two together and log them seperatly??? Just movin 'round would be their goal. Let's hear it............ Vern... Quote Link to comment

nonaeroterraqueous
Why? You want to track the same thing twice? Quote Link to comment

+Eartha
You will probably find a lot of confused cachers logging one or the other. Don't forget, one man's fun is another man's idea of extra work. I'll be willing to bet they don't end up with the same mileage on them. And you will be getting one or two emails each time they are logged. Quote Link to comment

+EScout
I attached a TB tag to a non-trackable geocoin. It was a California Geocoin that was trackable on its own site, not here. The attached card asked people to log the TB, with the logging of the coin optional. As for people logging more that one item, my 3-pack has had every person log all three and the mileage on all three coins is equal, at 4,959 miles. It was released in Sept 2006. Yes, it is more work to log three, but they do get three icons.... Quote Link to comment
+ArtieD
I "attached" a TB tag to my Geocoin Fairy geocoin to make it trackable...what I did was install the GCF coin in the foam for my album and carve out a space for the TB tag right above the coin...everything is held in place by the sleeve... +hide_from_the_kids
I say go for it! But I also feel a lot of people will probably log one but not the other unless you include something that will make it evident that you need to log both! Quote Link to comment
+BlueDeuce
Maybe if you named them: Log one...then the other. Quote Link to comment
+Foothills Drifter
Howdy...... If I go through with this project,I will make it very clear that BOTH the BUG and the G/COIN will have to be logged on their respective sites. Still thinkin 'bout it... Vern / Foothills Drifter...
