You need to upload a photo to an image hosting site like ImageShack. Then you attach the link after clicking the Insert Link icon while typing your message.

If the image is already somewhere on the net, you can just right-click on it, and select "Copy Image Location" from the context menu. That will place the image's URL into your clipboard. That's if you're using Firefox. If you're using IE, I don't think that will work, due to IE's suckitude.

Right click on the picture and look under properties in IE. There you can see and copy the address of the photo.

You can also post pictures here.

 

After you upload it, click on it to get the larger version then right-click to get the "address."

You can also upload unlimited images up to 1.5M here for free and then use the link to post it in forum or cache page. I use this site because I like using my photos as the background on my PC, and the GC site reduces the image too much to use those photos.
