stepshep
I'll be heading to the Salt Fork State Park this June. Their website boasts over 2,00 caches in the park and in the nearby Cambridge area. I'll only be there a week, so I was wondering if anyone could recommend any caches I should definitely visit. Thanks for the help. stepshep Quote Link to comment
mtn-man
You will probably get more response in the local forum. I will move this topic to the Midwest Forum. Quote Link to comment
Ed_S
I'd recommend asking in the Central Ohio Geocachers forum - they're pretty active and well organized. http://www.cogeocaching.org/ Sorry to keep bouncing you around, but I'm up in the Youngstown area. Quote Link to comment

the mad cow
I'd recommend asking in the Central Ohio Geocachers forum - they're pretty active and well organized. http://www.cogeocaching.org/ Sorry to keep bouncing you around, but I'm up in the Youngstown area. Thanks. I've done almost every cache in the park. I can post a lost when I get home of the quality of caches and which one to really go after. +The Leprechauns
The Salt Fork cache that stands out for me, five years and 2,300 cache hunts later, is "Homestead." It is so cool seeing the ruins of an old farmhouse just out of sight from a well-groomed golf course fairway. And more deer than I've ever seen in one place! Or perhaps I'm fond of the cache for the reasons described in my log Quote Link to comment

Cache4Ever
I'd like to get a hold of the list of the 200+ caches in Salt Fork. We're camping there next month and I'm not having much luck online. I found a few on geocaching.com, but no where near 200. Quote Link to comment
501_Gang
I only find 15 inside the park, but maybe this is where they get the 200+ caches: Quote Link to comment
TeamGuisinger
There's definately some hiking to be done, we had a good time. We did Double Split Trees, The Kangaroo Kid, Winter Fun, The Cliffs, Hosack's #3, Stone House II, Water Trough, Buckeye Trail Ruins is the hike from hell.
