Firth of Forth
I put the finishing touches to a new cache this morning, clicked on "Yes, this listing is active", but did not receive the usual emails to say that it is in the queue. Should I be concerned or has the system seized up today? Edited April 9, 2007 by Firth of Forth Quote Link to comment
Firth of Forth
Never mind! It's just been published (but I still didn't get the email beforehamd). Quote Link to comment
dino-irl
You only get that email when you initially set up the listing. So if you set it up a few days ago, edited it a few times and then ticked the box to set it as active today you won't get another email to say it's in the queue. You should have got the email on the first day though. Not having had a cache published by the UK reviewers in a long time I'm not sure if they send you an email to say it has been published. I think this varies depending on the reviewer. Quote Link to comment
mollyjak
Yesterday I didn't get an email on a visit to one of my caches or about 2 notes on a cache event I am watching. Wondered if it was the system??? Anyone else having the same problems? Quote Link to comment

Having published a lot of caches I'd still be sending out emails for caches published last year if it was a manual system Quote Link to comment
Haggis Hunter
Never mind! It's just been published (but I still didn't get the email beforehamd). I didn't get the insta-notify email for this cache either, looks like someone has shot the hamster!! Quote Link to comment
davy boy
Had a cache published earlier and had a publishing mail but it was odd, never had one like that before!! Quote Link to comment
Firth of Forth
Maybe that's what happened, then, as I did start working on this cache a few weeks ago. Anyway, I'd just like to thank the reviewers for such a speedy job over the last few days. Yesterday I submitted another cache and it was published about 2 minutes later! Do you guys never have a holdiay? Quote Link to comment
Eckington
Do you guys never have a holdiay? ....between the three of us we are a bit like the Windmill theatre used to be......"We never close" Quote Link to comment
Dorsetgal & GeoDog
Well as it appears to be the day of "I published a new cache and ..." I'll add, mine was published this morning, at the very time I had requested from the reviewer, many thanks Deceangi, you're a gem. The email to tell me it had been published arrived right on cue too.
