Let’s hope it will not be a local contest like it was in the last years. I sincerely hope in the next contest, they will lift the strange prison cage around a part of the United States.

 

The way how the Diabetics bugs contest was organized was very good! Everyone around the globe had the same opportunity to receive one and there are no travel boundaries.

I am still pretty much impressed with the way they (.com) organized it.

I dont think Groundspeak picks who can and cant be part of the contest. That being said, Jeeps travel all over the world, before being pocketed by Geocachers for some unknown reason.

That's the 2006 winners...we haven't been given the Jeeps for 2007 yet!

 

I have a few pics of the Jeep hand-out last year at the Geobash!! Was honored to be a part of handing them out! All those Jeeps sitting on the table....wow!

Any word on the travel bug street about the 2007 jeep contest ?

 

I spoke with Daimler-Chrysler about 2 weeks ago, and they said they were getting ready for the 2007 Jeep Travel bugs. She sadi they didn't have all the changes made yet, but the 2006 contest was a good event and they would do it again in 2007. SHe just suggested watching the website for further details.
