Suppress visibility of caches

Hoping to tap into the collective wisdom and experiene of the group (that have you all butterd up sufficiently?) haha... seriously there is an amazing amount of knowledge here so onto my question:

 

I have a Gpsmap 60CSX with all of the local caches (around 600) loaded as waypoints and I kind of like having them available if I decide on an impromptu hunt. But at other times they really clutter up the map display unless zoomed in pretty far. I've looked throught the manual but don't see an obvious way to select weather caches are displayed or not.

 

Any suggestions?

I have a Legend CX, I think same firmware, though. Go to setup, map, Points, User Waypoints: OFF or close in setting. Cache boxes use this setting.

Thanks for the quick replys. I'll try changing the show waypoint zoom level and see if that takes care of the problem.
