+DrAwKwArD
I travel 56.6 miles to maintain one cache (as the crow flies). 8 are between 35-45 miles, and 3 are less than 5 miles. Quote Link to comment
+Team Dubbin
No further then 13.92 miles. Quote Link to comment
nonaeroterraqueous
10.26 miles, now that we've moved. Never have placed a cache more than three miles from home at the time of placement. Quote Link to comment
+Airmapper
I have 3 caches at over 60 miles, as the crow flies. Most of my others range from just over a mile out to 20mi. Quote Link to comment
+Aiden's Cachers
62 mile drive to 3 or my caches. Quote Link to comment
+baloo&bd
I have one that when I adopted it was about 80 miles from my home, as crow flies. Now that I moved, it is about 136. Luckily it is low maintenance and I only need to check it every 60 to 90 days or so which means I get to give the Goldwing a nice relatively short ride. The rest are all <35 miles. Going forward none will be more than 20 with most being less than 10. Edited March 30, 2007 by baloo&bd Quote Link to comment
+Harry Dolphin
29.8 miles, as the GPS flies, to my furthest cache that might require maintenance. That's well over an hour. That's a special circumstance. It's a degree confluence cache. Quote Link to comment
+smcpeaknkids
I have caches anywhere from .6 miles from my house to 12 miles. I do not want to go much further than that. Quote Link to comment
+CO Admin
The territory in which a geocacher is able to maintain caches responsibly will vary from one person to the next. An active geocacher who regularly visits areas hundreds of miles apart can demonstrate their ability to maintain a cache 100 miles from home. A geocacher whose previous finds and hides are all within 25 miles of their home would likely not see their cache published if placed 250 miles away from their home. http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#maint Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I have one that is 159 miles as the crow flies and another that is 151 miles ATCF. The drive is closer to 225 miles and 215. I travel there every month or two, so I've been pretty good about maintaining them, though for some reason people keep insisting on moving one out of its hiding place and I've had to re hide it properly nearly every time I've visited it . +mudsneaker
I have 5 caches about 75 miles to the north. I go up that way pretty often though, its where I grew up and my parents are still there. Also have 1 cache 75 miles to the south, toward where my sister lives. Again its on my travel route. Of course plenty here locally too. *note: for my long distance caches, even though I travel to those areas, I was asked by locals to let lem know if I ever needed any help with them. Nice of them to offer as a back-up in case of emergency. Edited March 30, 2007 by mudsneaker Quote Link to comment

+niffir
I have one that is about a 14 hour drive from me. It is in my parent's front yard, though, so keeping it maintained isn't a problem. If it needs something done immediately, they can fix it-- and I can overhaul it when I visit them. Quote Link to comment

+Cpt.Blackbeard
0.2 miles. If I check on all of them about .75 round trip total. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
My furthest is 48 Crow miles. But it's not the most difficult to access for maintenance, those would be the 'yak caches. First the drive, then the paddle. Not that I'm complaining at all, but total time and effort wise, those are the most travel time. Quote Link to comment
Tahosa and Sons
One is about a 80 mile drive. Most of the others are around 20 mile drive with up to a 10 mile hike thrown in for good measure. And one is in my front yard. Quote Link to comment
+rdaines
My wife and I are building our retirement house in Arizona (we live in Missouri) but won't be living in it full time for a few years. I hope to be able to have a few caches out there 1500 miles away. I'd be able to maintain them at 4 to 6 month intervals. We'll see if they let me. Quote Link to comment
