+The Lost Geeks
The first Cape Breton Island Geocoin. This coin is trackable on Geocaching.com and has it own icon. It is in the shape of Cape Breton Island. Only 250 trackable coins were made. The coin was minted in Antique Silver (75) and Black Nickel (175). On the back of each coin is "Ciad Mile Failte". This is Scottish Gaelic for "A Hundred Thousand Welcomes". Also "Lorgadh sibh e aig:" is Scottish Gaelic for "you will find it at". Along with the Gaelic, the colors were specifically chosen to represent Cape Breton Island. BLACK for the wealth of our coal mines (Black Nickel) GREY for our Cape Breton steel (Antique Silver) GREEN for our lofty mountains, our valleys and our fields GOLD for the golden sunsets they can be purchased at this Black Nickel Silver LE The 3 Geeks Quote Link to comment
