+CacheHunters42
The Canine Community coin, each coin with have an image of a dog on it. I am looking to gauge the interest in a new Community coin. We would be manufacturing several breeds based on the sign up. Each person would select the number of coins/tags they would want. They will be personalized with your favorite K9's name on the collar of the dog. I am looking for feedback as to whether you would want a 3-D or 2-D dog image. The back of the coin would be open to personalization for an additioanl charge otherwise we would share the same back for the series. They would be trackable with a K9 companion Icon and possibly a custom prefix. Start listing your requests and comments. Edited March 22, 2007 by CacheHunters42 Quote Link to comment
+swimmrguy
I am very interested, and would be interested in 3 or 4 copies of a Golden Retriever. Happy with either 2D or 3D. Quote Link to comment

+CacheHunters42
Just some clarification, these would be your own personal Canine coins. Lots of 50, 100, or more would be available. Similar to some of the other community coins already out there. These are less expensive ways to have your own signature items. More details to follow as the process develops. +The 4 F's
Poodle for me! Not a prissy looking poodle with the crazy haircut, but a normal looking one (I have many, many pictures of mine!). 3D is very nice (like Nielsenc's Pug coin) Quote Link to comment

Okay, so this would be individual, uniquely trackable geocoins ala GeoTags currently in development and not like a PathTag? Quote Link to comment

Thanks for putting more information here. Since we already have our own Pug coin, we will keep trading those. Thanks Quote Link to comment

+Traderdell
I am definitely interested. We have Weimaraners so a head study of any of the pointing breeds would be close enough. I would prefer to see it in 3D. TraderDell Quote Link to comment
+tom4props
Yellow Lab for me. My Yellow Lab Max is fairly well known in the local geocaching community where I live. In fact, he's reached a sort of celebrity status and he even has his own GC.com profile! My Yellow Lab Max I'd be interested. His collar could say Max or My Yellow Lab Max. Quote Link to comment
+slippery_1
My Black Lab has been my tireless caching companion and absolutley loves the hunt Her name is Princess I'd take 4. Edited March 22, 2007 by slippery_1 Quote Link to comment

+4BOWS
We may be interested in this, if we can find a dog picture similar to ours. We adopted ours from the local pound, and he seems to be a mix of Rhodesian Ridgeback and another type of dog. Of course, his name is Geo. Quote Link to comment

+Kealia
Just to be clear, this is not the same as the Canine Series that was started in 2005. (trying to avoid confusion, not that CH intended it that way) The 4th Edition is due out soon - look for a post from Hula Bum when they are in-hand. Quote Link to comment
+wutzebear
Start listing your requests and comments. Sounds good. Aruna (my avatar) is a Hovawart, a breed where the blond ones are often mistaken as a Golden Retriever. Quote Link to comment
+FluteFace
I'd certainly be interested. We've got Daisy, an Australian Cattle Dog (sometimes known as a Blue Heeler, although she's red) who loves going with us when we cache. I've even put out a cache with her in mind: She Runs With The Big Dogs (GCXR77) Quote Link to comment
+Tank Hounds
We would be in...we'd have to decide between a basset hound and a bloodhound though since we have both. I really like the look of the 3D (like the new pug coin) it just "pops" out and is pretty neat, but we could go either way. Quote Link to comment
+andouille
I Definitely would be ready to take a set with a nova scotia duck tolling retriever on it! more info on the breed at: www.toller.ca or www.nsdtrc-usa.org edit: Would prefer 3D over 2D Edited March 23, 2007 by andouille Quote Link to comment

They will all share the same back so if you wanted a different front you'll be able to get one for ~$35 for your own front die. More to follow. Quote Link to comment

+PaRacers
We are already collecting dog related geocoins so this sounds great. We'd like to do 50 or so MinPin coins and trade with the other breeds. Can we see what the common die side would look like? Quote Link to comment

+Marky
4C logo for both sides I'm not sure what is meant by 4C logo. Each breed will share the front unless you want your own front design. ... $20.00 one time fee per customer Personal Front 2-D is $48 Personal Front 3-D is $58 So, is the Personal Front fee only if you have your own front design? So, if you only want the standard breed front with your dog's name engraved on the dogtag, you only pay the $20.00 one time fee? --Marky Quote Link to comment
