EraSeek
The FAA realtime status site has been down for several days. Now I know why. They have added some cool features such as: current GPS sat position and status: http://www.nstb.tc.faa.gov/incoming/waas_sats.png WAAS Ionospheric Grid Point Delay : http://www.nstb.tc.faa.gov/incoming/igp_plot.png Find it all here: http://www.nstb.tc.faa.gov/vpl.html Edited March 20, 2007 by EraSeek Quote Link to comment
embra
You do find the most interesting sites... It's pretty neat to see where the sats near the horizon on my satellite screen are positioned. Looks like one is off the Brazilian coast, another off the British Columbian coast, and a couple others over Europe. Edited March 20, 2007 by embra Quote Link to comment

EraSeek
For my education...what means these acronyms: "PA=14 NPA=0 NM=16 DNU=0" ? thanks. PA= Precision approach ( fully corrected) NPA= Non-precision approach (corrected but not for ionospheric signal delays) DNU= Do Not Use NM= ??? not sure on this one but basically I think it is non corrected gps signal Quote Link to comment

EraSeek
NM= Not monitored (I believe). As you will notice these sats are outside the WAAS correction area. Quote Link to comment
EraSeek
For you who understand the numbers, they have added more info here: http://www.nstb.tc.faa.gov/WAAS%20Satellit...mes%20Final.htm Quote Link to comment
