+archi77
I know this has been discussed before, I read it once somewhere, but for the life of me, I can't find it. I've spent over 2 hours scrolling through, I've done numerous searches that turn up over 1,000 finds, and stil haven't found what I was looking for. <sigh> It must be this Friday snow getting to me...if they'd let me leave work, I'd be just jolly. Anyways, I'm looking for tips on what info to track when doing trades, or selling outright. I know some do it simple with printed emails, others have Acess or Excell files to handle it. If you're willing to "share" a file, I'd love to view them. Otherwise, just some tips on what info I should be tracking...obviously, name, address, coin traded, when, for what...but what else does anyone else track? Thanks. Quote Link to comment
+paulandstacey
I use a spreadheet program (quatro pro). a little archaic, but it works. I keep track of trades, sales, if i've emailed the person, if I've shipped or received, etc. The most important thing I've found is just to constantly update - don't fall behind! +BRoKeN W
We track everything on excel. We have spaces for names, address, paypal info, amount owed, quantity of coins, whether or not the amount has been paid, and also whether or not they've been shipped or received. We still also keep all the e-mail we've gotten regarding sales and trades. I'm sure we'll add more this weekend when we make sure we having everything organized before our coins come in.
