Oil Can
Im planning on to buy a Garmin 60 or the 76 csx and use it on my bike and in my car. Giving me a reason to go for a ride. useing the Ram mount for a MC is it strong enough to hold the Garmin 76 csx. It weighs a few more onces over the 60 csx model. I like the buttons on the top half and the fact that it floats. Thankx Quote Link to comment
+Mopar
Yup. The Ram motorcycle mount works great with the 76 series. No problems at all. Quote Link to comment
+JT & PJ Cole
I've got 5 years and 30,000 miles out of my RAM mount and GPS V and later a 60CS. It is a good product. Quote Link to comment
+DocDiTTo
Just out of curiosity, which ram mount are you guys using for your cycles? This kind? Or this kind? Or one of these others? I'm trying to decide which to get for my cycle and bicycle. I'm leaning toward one of the first two, I think. Quote Link to comment
Glenn W
I use the U-bolt style mount on my Kawasaki ZRX which has round bars. Works fine but not elegant looking. http://www.custommounts.com/RAM_B_231Z_RAM.../ram-b-231z.htm On my BMW RT, which has oddly shaped cast aluminum bars, I use the simple bolt-on mount. http://www.custommounts.com/RAM_B_252U_RAM.../ram-b-252u.htm Edited March 16, 2007 by Glenn W Quote Link to comment
+wickedsprint
I use touratech mounts, a lot more heavy duty and they hold the units very securely, plus have the added benefit of incorporating the power cable. I have a GPSV hardwired into the electrical of my XR650R this way. Quote Link to comment

Is anyone using one of these? http://www.custommounts.com/RAM_B_309_2_RA...ram-b-309-2.htm Quote Link to comment
+space_man
I got a suzuki sv and i use my 60cx with a bike mount. It works realy great and when i take it off the mount is small not to stick out. Alex Quote Link to comment
+GOT GPS?
When you are wearing gloves on a bike, it may be better to use the 76CSx on the bike instead of the 60CSx, because the buttons are above the screen, and they are larger. The buttons are kinda small on the 60CSx, but it may depend on the angle of view, and if your hand blocks the screen while pressing buttons. Edited March 17, 2007 by GOT GPS? Quote Link to comment
