+Whistlen
Way to Go! Wife is deaf and we really enjoy this hobby together. By the way, a while ago I and others here came up with a sign for geocaching. Simply finger spell "g" then "c" with your right hand below the open palm facing down of the left hand. This shows the geocache being a hidden item. Got 1, now go get more! Quote Link to comment

Chilling out has nothing to do with it. If he doesn't know it's bad ettiquette then someone needs to tell him. He's probably used to using uppercase with the dtty system and didn't realize it's bad form in the forums. So get off my back unless there are OSHA required hand rails attached. Quote Link to comment

+Criminal
i have ask geoccaching people inalaska theey say no one .... Well I guess in reality it simply means nobody else who is from Alaska has declared themselves as deaf ... Well, that’s not exactly scientific or absolute, but I’m perfectly OK with it. Regardless of whether you are or are not the first, you declared it first so it’s now fact. I mean what the heck; I’ve named a waterfall after myself, a creek after a friend’s dog, and a lake after that same friend, so it’s all good. Quote Link to comment

Saturate
Congrats! But how are you able to manage? I mean, if your geocaching in the woods or something you won't be able to hear woodpeckers, hawks and SNAKES! But I guess that was a dumb question to ask since I just got the feeling you ALWAYS geocache with somebody that can hear. Quote Link to comment

You think I'm kidding? Snickers Creek, named after TotemLake's late great dog Snickers TotemLake Lake, named after...well...TotemLake and Criminal Falls. Quote Link to comment
