+EDEd
Folks, I currently have the Gamin 12XL and have been thinking of moving to a Garmin ETrex of some sort. Any good and bad on the move to an ETrex? Thanks, Ed Quote Link to comment
Washco
I was doin the same thing from a Magellan 315. I was lookin at the Visa CX but went with the 60 CSX. Love it! Quote Link to comment
+media601
Its always time for a new GPS. But seriously, folks, I love my eTrex Venture CX and find I use it more than my much vaunted 60Csx. I like the size and weight and the lanyard attachment point of the Venture. I find that in real world use it finds (or fails to find) the caches just as effectively as the 60CSx, even though the 60CSx claims it knows where it is more than the Venture CX. (Methinks it not entirely truthful betimes). Some people don't like the small screen or side mounted buttons of the eTrex series, but I view these as a tradeoff for being less of a brick. One thing about the 60CSx--it will acquire and lock in some areas where the etrex will not. Does that make it worth twice as much? Quote Link to comment

I am interested in the Venture Cx do you have the screen cap utility from Garmin that allows you to save screenshots from the gps I would like to see how sharp the display looks? Thanx, Ray Quote Link to comment
GeoidPS
The Screen cap utility is XImage, and to show the shot, you must have a URL to post it. Grongo, GeoidPS Tree smasher. Quote Link to comment
