+Images4U Posted March 5, 2007 Share Posted March 5, 2007 Can anyone tell me how to use Mapsend to create a route that can be uploaded to geocaching.com? Mapsend saves routes as a wpt file. I think I need a gpx file. I tried to convert in GPSBabel but it didn't seem to work. Thanks for the help. Quote Link to comment

If you can be more specific, perhaps some of those experts can help. The common pitfall here is that GC's "caches along a route" feature requres GPX 1.1 and GPSBabel's default (ironically, mostly influenced by GC's waypoint default) is GPX 1.0 - so you typically have to override GPSBabel's output GPX version number.
