Well I'm busy now THANKS I assume the term "muggle" comes from its use in the Harry Potter books. In geocaching, it refers to the non-cachers of the world. You try not to be detected by "muggles" while you are out looking for caches. If you are spotted caching, the cache may be "muggled"-- meaning disturbed or destroyed by non-cachers.
