Laurontario
Hello, How can one setup the geocaching options? I have a whole bunch of caches loaded as Custom POIs, but my GPSr keeps saying 'None Found' under 'Geocache Near Current Location'. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks, Laurentiu Quote Link to comment
andylphoto
I believe this will operate on the same principle as my 60C. For geocaching mode, load the caches as waypoints with the treasure chest icon. If you download the .loc file from geocaching and simply load it as a waypoint, it should do this automatically. When you search for geocaches, the treasure chest icon is what tells the unit that the waypoint is a cache. Quote Link to comment

+ProsperoDK
Only if you save your POI as a waypoint with the closed treasurechest icon before you select it and navigate to it. ProsperoDK/René Quote Link to comment

ProsperoDK/René All my caches are in a GPX file; all have the closed treasure chest assigned. If I load them as individual waypoints then I can see them in the Geocaching screen. If I load them as custom POIs they don't show up. Quote Link to comment

If they are loaded as custom POIs, they won't show up in the list of geocaches and you won't be able to use the geocaching features. --Larry Quote Link to comment
