Dukeyduke
So now that Andrew King's art hunt is over, does anybody want to share their hunting stories? For those outside of the Ottawa area, Andrew King is a local artist that tried GeoCaching and decided to hide 3 original paintings throughout the Ottawa Valley. He then revealed the co-ordinates on his website through cryptic clues. http://www.andrewkingstudio.com/index.html Quote Link to comment
+hidnseek
All I will say was we were a well organized machine that quit the hunt at 5pm to get ready for the monthly geo-meet at 7pm (or when the last part went live). But I do know one person who found a painting (the accidental find on the monday before) and well another who was close behind. Great puzzles great hunt and all those who were in on the friday hunt next time, I think he was on to us this time. I also know some other stories but well I am not willing to give to much of the secret society away cause I hear there may be more. Quote Link to comment
Nietzsche
As the finder of one of the paintings in question, and a newbie geocacher, I have to say it was a fabulous concept, a great contest, and a good way to introduce people to geocaching.... Props to whoever found painting B - those were tough clues... Kudos to Andrew! Quote Link to comment
