This post is funny as heck to me.Sounds like something I wanted to type @ a month ago.Once I ask enough and figured it all out ,everything is good.I was truly frustrated also.Maybe the video will work for you.I would play video,pause it,minimze and do the action and so on.

Try this,go to go to my preferences,active setup,detailed maps and select your map that you installed.Same thing on cache files,may have to go up one level,depending on if your stored them in internal memory or sd card.All the above is done on the gps,assuming you have saved or exported the info into the gps.
