+gh patriot Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Im new to geocaching but I see alot of people have sig cards. I want to design my own but Im not sure how. I know the basics of computers and thats all. Is there any Free buisness card software that would be good for me to design a sig card on??? Ill get the laminator and sleeves after I get a sig card designed. Also, it would help if the program was relatively easy to use, easy enough for a cave-man to do it!! Thanks for any links you can give me!!! Quote
+StarBrand Posted February 13, 2007 Posted February 13, 2007 Microsoft word can do it - so can the more common works word processor - look in help under labels. Quote

+gh patriot Posted February 14, 2007 Author Posted February 14, 2007 Thanks StarBrand! I emailed you some ideas. I feel so stupid because I know that most third graders could accomplish this with no problem. I put my best efforts into creating a sig card today and still came up with no finished product. I paper cache if that tells you how much I know about anything with a chip in it!!! Thanks again. Quote

Don't feel bad, you're not the only one that lacks artistic abilities It took me forever to come up with a sig card that I'm not embarrassed to put in caches. Quote

Don't feel bad, I HAVE seen construction paper and crayons ones in caches. They are obviously a very special sig card and definately a one of a kind. Quote
+Night Stalker Posted February 14, 2007 Posted February 14, 2007 I used Microsoft publisher. I didn't do any drawings, but cut and pasted the pictures into the document until I got what I wanted. It worked out pretty well and automatically printed out the correct size for my Avery business cards. Quote
+gh patriot Posted February 16, 2007 Author Posted February 16, 2007 Thank you Starbrand!!! The design was perfect. I couldn't have done better even if I knew how!!! Quote
