+GPComd
G'day folks. I'm down here in Blanding doing some training, and will be making the time to get a few caches in the Middleburg/Starke area. The question - in some of the descriptions and/or hints, I see 'hidden Florida-style' or 'Georgia-style'. Unfortunately that means nothing to me - is it hidden inside a peach or an orange? Tucked under a gator's butt? I haven't been out to any of the caches yet, maybe Florida style is the same as Ontario style when it comes to urban/suburb micros and such. Thanks and cheers GPC Quote Link to comment
Clan Riffster
My understanding is that Florida style means hidden under palmettos whilst Georgia style means hidden under pine needles. Quote Link to comment
+Super_Nate
Oh I have no clue....I just think a cache is a cache, and the technique can be used again most anywhere. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
Fl style is covered with palm or palmetto fronds (or in the palmetto) and Georgia style is generally under pine straw - those can be tough tough hunts, an ammo can down in a rut covered level to everything with pine needles, you just about need to break out the metal detector.
