This is our first geocoin and it represents one of our caching goals. We don’t know if we will ever get to fulfill the goal but it is something to strive for.

Good news. The coins are on their way after a 5 day delay in shipping from China. Landsharkz will have the coins Monday and I have asked them to ship them to us overnight. All the envelopes are addressed and ready to go so we should be able to have them all in the mail the same day as we receive them next week.

We have listed this coin for sale on our site and have 50 black nickel and 50 polished nickel both with a matte background on the back. It looks really cool!

 

Chris and I met with Glenn when we were in Ft. Lauderdale last month and in addition to a wonderful evening of conversation, we picked up a tidbit or two on photographing coins . Thanks Glenn!!

That was quite a learning experience and we learned a few lessons that we won't repeat next time and we found that some of our systems worked pretty well and can be repeated if we do this again.
