+jim&jackie
I would like to know if V8 MetroGuide is compatable with my GarminGPSMap60CS and Garmin LegendCx? These units are not listed in the compatablity chart on the Garmin site or the package, but I have been using V6 successfully with these units. Is this a Garmin ploy to get us to buy the more expensive CityNavigator V8? With the current rebate, I can save $60 over CityNavigator. Thank you for your help. Jim&Jackie Quote Link to comment
+Team MnMizzou
I believe that the map will work, but you loose a lot of the interactive features that City navigator offers, namely turn by turn directions. I went with City navigator and to me it is well worth it. Quote Link to comment
Neo_Geo
Team MnMizzou is right. MetroGuide will work, but it doesn't support the autorouting feature of your GPSr. To me, that's the best feature of those units! Quote Link to comment
strumble
Yes, it is compatible with any GPSMap 60 or the derivatives but you have to 'manipulate' the software to get 'autorouting'!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
+Cacheoholic
Here's the easiest way I've found to "manipulate" it. Quote Link to comment

+fratermus
Is this a Garmin ploy to get us to buy the more expensive CityNavigator V8? Probably, but for many people CN is likely a better fit as it does the autorouting out of the box. I do think they should show MG as compatible-but-suboptimal. :-) Quote Link to comment
