+Boardslider
Just paid for it but not got around to downloading and installing. For reasons I won't bore you with an upgrade isn't an option for me so I intend to do a clean install and then import my (previously saved) database. Clyde assures me this will work, so now worries there, I just wondered what other peeps though of the new version...... Quote Link to comment
Deego
Not had time yet but I will be paying for the new version. I think its well worth the money and Its one of the most used pieces of software on my PC. Quote Link to comment

+Globetrotter.uk
I upgraded but when I used my palm 650 the caches where listed as Geocache rather than the cache name. So I switch back. Quote Link to comment

+Midnight Ramblers
I am using it. Did not have to pay for it as I only paid for the previous version the day before 7 was released. Quote Link to comment
+rutson
I've been using it for several months without major issues. Unfortunately I've not had a lot of time to play with many of the shiny new features. Have gone from v6 to v7 several times and the imports have always been flawless. Quote Link to comment
+Team Ballibeg
To sort the Cachemate export issue read this thread on the GSAK forum. http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=...mp;hl=cachemate Dave Quote Link to comment
+Boardslider
Well, I installed it this morning. A completely clean install (on this PC), configured, registered then imported a full backup from the old version with no problems at all (well, it took a couple of goes to register). Not really played with it, but everything seems to be there so if nothing else I get a nice warm feeling for supporting a hard working shareware author Quote Link to comment
alistair_uk
Just one quick moan, please don't use NE1 instead of "anyone", it is most confusing if you live in an NE1 postcode where the acronym is used as a geographical identifier. Okay, moan over. Quote Link to comment

Okay, moan over. I'm glad you pointed out what NE1 meant. I hate acronyms sometimes, they are a lazy way of typing, and you need to know what they mean to understand them!! Quote Link to comment

Oh Dear! Pointless pedantic debate coming up. It isn't exactly but is near enough for my liking. I don't even know if there is a word for the mobile text style of wording. If there is I bet it's an Acronym!! Quote Link to comment
Deego
I upgraded last night for £7.82 I can pay more than that for food on a days caching trip :P Only noticed a few things that were different but will play more tonight Quote Link to comment
+Just Roger
The main benefit I've found so far is in the handling of Child waypoints. Amongst other things, for older cache pages, it gives the option to grab waypoints as children rather than as separate unrelated waypoints. I'm still playing and will probably find other goodies hidden in there. Quote Link to comment
+Captain Gore-tex
I am certain I only use 10% of the capability of GSAK as there is so much in it. That said it is so integral to my caching the payment is worth it. It is a clever bit of kit I couldn't do without. Quote Link to comment

As someone who tries to type in fora in as plain an Englishy kind of way, observing puctuation, capitalisation, and even some of the rules of grammar, my one slip into shorthand gets short shrift.
