+tenulp Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 We each have our own computers in the same room. When he goes to view the map on the cache page it shows a red star however mine doesn't show the star at all. We're both running Windows XP Professional. My 'puter is faster and newer. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious here. Thanks in advance for any helpful reply. tenulp Quote

It's giving me something to work on. Unfortunately XP isn't quite the same but I did find the line "Run Active-X Controls & Plug-ins" was disabled in both trusted and restricted sites, changed it to "enable" but it didn't make any difference. +TexasGringo Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Sorry then.... I disable the ActiveX on mine and the Red star would go away the next time I started IE and map quest....then would come back when ActiveX was enabled. I'll see if I can find an XP maching...... Quote

Thanks for putting me on the right track. We sat down today and compared all the security settings and I changed mine to what his are, from High to Med in a nut shell and it works now. Thanks again tenulp Quote
