Keystone
1. While logged in under the cache owner's account, select "Archive Listing" from the menu at the top right of the cache details page. Enter a log explaining why the cache is being archived. 2. Retrieve the cache container if it's still out there. If you're not sure, visit the site. Leave no trace. Quote Link to comment

Keystone
Caches aren't deleted. They are "archived" so that a record remains. People who found the cache sometimes enjoy going back to read the cache page and all the logs. Under very rare circumstances, a cache can be retracted. This removes it from view by all but the owner and site admins/volunteers. An example would be where the hider makes a mistake by hiding a cache in an area where caches aren't permitted, then the reviewer doesn't notice the issue, publishes the cache, then quickly realizes their oversight. If you have special circmstances, contact the volunteer cache reviewer for your area. Quote Link to comment
