ditchdoc1017
I have having problems with my pointer bonucing around while standing still any ideas how to stop this. Quote Link to comment
PDOP's
I don't think you can. The60C doesn't have a magnetic compass so when you're standing still it can't know which way you're facing so the pointer wanders. Quote Link to comment
ditchdoc1017
should I have it on mag N or true N? Quote Link to comment
Sevateem
I run my 60CSX on tmagnetic notrth so it is the same as my compass. If you are doing a cache that you have to project a way point on a bearing just make sure you know if they mean true or magnetic. That can make a big difference. Quote Link to comment

gpsblake
Ditchdoc try this. Main Menu / Set up / Marine Menu / Make sure the speed filter is set to auto This comes up about once a month in here and that usually solves the problem. ImpalaBob
Your GPS is the least reliable when standing still. Movement lets the GPS calculate its position and direction of movement giving accurate readings. ImpalaBob Quote Link to comment
