+dgc808
Hi all, I just recently got a pda for Tomtom, Memory map, etc, and i am currently using a Navman 3400 Gpsr sleeve to go onto my PDA this has its own windscreen holder. But i am going to sell the Navman 3400 jacket including the windscreen holder, lighter socket adaptor and software. I will then be looking to buy a new windscreen / air vent holder for my PDA. Can anyone recomend a good holder ? I have seen lots on ebay but would like some feed back from anyone who uses a one currently. Cheers DGC808 Quote Link to comment
+CrazyL200
Brodit mounts are not the cheapest, but work very well. I use one in my 4x4 off road an it's never moved. Quote Link to comment
polc1410
I prefer vent to windscreen (less obstructive) - possibly easier to knock? I have one for my XDA-II which came from ebay (no brand!) which has a built in charger - if you plan on tom toming or anything else that might use blue tooth get a charger one... +Postie
Here I have used one of these for ages without any problems, and the power input to my palm is on the bottom which this allows access to. I think you might be able to get them a bit cheaper though. Quote Link to comment

I use a Brodit air vent mount in my Peugeot 406. They're very good quality and work well. They can be bought on-line from here. Quote Link to comment
+kbootb
I use this Arkon mount. It works with my HP PDA powers it with a usb size adapter cable. Comes with both vent and windscreen mount, powers from 12v and has built in loudspeaker. It's adjustable and will hold my Garmin in place, won't power it but is a handy place to park the Garmin if I'm in 'follow the arrow mode' when caching. Quote Link to comment
+wigglesworth
There is a drinks / cup holder in the centre of the console in our Golf. Youjust pop the holder out and use one of the cup holders for the PDA. The additional security benefit is when we park up we remove the PDA, slot the cup holder back nad there is no tell tale sign of the support. Peter Quote Link to comment
