StarBrand Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Ok - my wife has never been much for these forums but has recently spent some time browsing through some topics. She was telling me that she has sort of developed a mental image of some of the posters based on comments and listed hides. She is disappointed to find so few pictures in profiles. So here goes, a topic to post your picture to. Dispel the myths and legends. Try and find one while you are out caching. I believe this stands a good chance of getting derailed but thought I would give it a go. This message is just to kick things off while I dig through my photos looking for a good one of us out Geocaching. Anybody else want to share? Quote

NorthWes Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 The last thing a cache sees during a windy subzero wintertime hunt... Imitating a cormorant drying its wings - got a bit sweaty on this climb... ALASKA! NorthWes with his favorite caching partner... life partner... best friend... MRS NW! Photographed at the end of the 'easy hike' up the West Fork of Oak Creek Canyon, north of Sedona AZ, following a successful hunt for the 'Sedona Hideaway' cache. The journey along this slot canyon in search of its geocaches is classic caching. This trail is one of Arizona's best geofeatures - a blast to hike in the fall... we loved it! Quote
Snoogans Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 I'm not sure which scenery I enjoyed more. That wasn't taken AT my cache but it was somewhere between them. I know Hardcore like the back of my hand and that scenery is burned into my memory. Quote
Team Perks Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 That wasn't taken AT my cache but it was somewhere between them. I know Hardcore like the back of my hand and that scenery is burned into my memory. Yep! The photo was taken where I had parked my Jeep for one of the Hardcore caches, so it couldn't have been more than a couple hundred feet from the cache (I forget which, though!). Quote
ArtieD Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 A pic of my wife Trillian and I the day we got married...this was taken at the flower garden right next to the governor's mansion in Jefferson City, MO...the building in the back should need no explanation. Here's one of me out at the cache where I found my Geocoin Fairy geocoin... Finally, a pic of Trillian with my stepson...young Zaphod...he accompanies us caching sometimes...they were on the Katy Trail walking towards the Tate Island cache... Quote
Team Perks Posted January 18, 2007 Posted January 18, 2007 Is it just me or do I look mad? If that was your truck you're standing on, I could understand why! Quote
