+froldt
Drove in to work today, and was sent home (raining too hard). So I returned to the house, went back to bed, got up and showered. Then my girlfriend and I had waffles for breakfast, and we headed out to go Geocaching! What a wonderful non-work day! Of course, I missed work because it was too wet, so we trooped around in it for fun. Best of all, I didn't even have to come up with an excuse! In a couple of weekends, we're going to visit some school campuses for tours, and are planning the days around some caching! Quote Link to comment
+beezerb
Waffles and geocaching, my friend, you can't beat that. It's pecan waffles at Waffle House for the Bezzer and me (. Well done Quote Link to comment
+cmiyc
We had Monday off as a company holiday. However, Austin is iced over like a glazed donut, so everything is shut down. My car is covered in too much ice to drive anywhere and I've already found the nearby caches. So all I can do today is read the forums... boo. Quote Link to comment

+BlueDeuce
Yep, you know you're a geocacher when you call in sick and then go geocaching. And you really were sick! Quote Link to comment

Been there, done that! I took a day off because of vertigo last spring, took a nap , and felt so much better that I *had* to go to find a few! Quote Link to comment
