Portraider
OK everybody - today I had a stupid attack. At my age that's allowed . I was logging in a few finds today, entered one digit incorrectly doing a cache search, didn't notice it, logged the find and went on. Later however, I noticed that a find of mine today was in New Mexico! I was in South Carolina all day today I swear! Is there anyway to delete that log and the find? I really hate the erroe and surely do not want incorrect information on my finds. Thanks! Portraider Quote Link to comment
mb3
How about changing the find to a note? Quote Link to comment
Isonzo Karst
Below the log you'll see a link to view this log on a separate page - once you do that you'll have a link to delete log. You could post a note to the cache page explaining your error, in case the owner wonders what happened. Or not. But you do have the ability to delete your own find. Quote Link to comment
beezerb
Been there, done that. Just visit the log and click the delete log option. Quote Link to comment
mb3
Funny, but apparently you were 2.5 miles from my house. I didn't even know this cache was there. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
sbell111
On the cache page, click the link directly under you log that reads [view/edit logs/images on a separate page]. It will bring up the 'view cache log' page. Assuming that you are signed in and that you are the owner of the log, you will see a button called 'Delete Log'. Click it. You will be asked if you are sure. Click 'Yes'. Quote Link to comment
