Favourite Tomtom Voice ? (Whilst driving to caches)

Hi all, I am in the process of trying to get Tomtom Navigator 5 running on my pocket pc, to get to cache area's. I was just wondering if anyone else uses Tomtom in this way and if the have a Favourite Tomtom (Celebrity) voice that they use on their Tomtom ? Not exactly a geocaching topic i know ! But what the heck !

I used Ozzy for a while but just sticking with Jane for the mo

But she doesn't half choose some strange routes to the cache, on occasions!

At the end of the day Jane has the clearest voice (both of them ). Sometimes use Yoda as well.

Been through most of the voices including celebrities but lways come back to Jane

 

Although if Sally Traffic from Radio 2 could be persuaded to record the voices I would switch immediately

His occasional comments brighten up the journey, for example "Bear Left.......Beaver Right".

If it's turning into - Which voice would you like on your TomTom... I'd go for a soft Female Irish voice....

 

Oh the days I hoped a Dell Laptop would fail at work so I could call the Technical support girls in Dublin....

 

We were also saying only this week it would be kind of fun to have a Cornish voice.... "Turn left dreckly".... or a Mother in Law Backseat Driver one "You should have turned left 200 yards back - See I told you...." (With all due respects to the only Mum in Law I've ever had... She was/is lovely)

We use 'Yoda' simply because of the order in which he constructs his sentances e.g 'Right you must turn'. This ensures that you hear which direction you are going just as early as is possible - this can sometimes make a significant difference to whether you miss a junction or not.

I used to laugh at Ozzy Osborne every time I went out caching with Father Jack, but in the end it REALLY wore thin!

I use John Cleese, "Sharp Right ooooo" the girls keep telling me to go the wrong way so they can here the "turn around when possible"

I'm trying to learn Tagalog as I work with a lot of Filipinos so that's the one for me. But it's John Cleese if I don't know where I'm going. Mrs NB insists on Sharon Osborne but I find her voice so infuriating that I switch back to plain Jane whenever I can.

Roger Mellie from the viz magazine is good for a laugh and fairly clear too, you do have to take a lot of abuse though.

Plane Jane for me usually unless the kids are in the car and then they insist on Arnold Swarzenegger - that really wears thin very quickly I can tell you, its just too slow.
