Problem getting first cache reviewd

After hunting and finding caches for about a year we decided to get with the program and hide some ourselves. On News Years Day we very excitedly posted our first cache for publishing on the site. Four days have gone by and it has not been reviewed. The instructions say that after 72 hours we should report the problem so I sent a "ticket" earlier today through the Help page but have not been contacted with any explanation for the delay. What should I do now?

Have you confirmed that you have the "This cache is active" box checked? If it's not checked, the reviewer can't see your cache.

You have already posted a note here in the forums which is really a good step. That is so one of the moderators who has reviewer privliages can look at your quene and determine what is taking your cache longer to get approved than most.

 

A lot of times the reviewers will need some more information before the cache can be published.....so in those cases, check your email inbox because notes that are posted onto your cache pages will be emailed to you.....or you can go to the cache page directally and see if the reviewer has left you a note.

 

Remember to stay patient with them because they are volunteers and are not paid....so your cache will be reviewed, it just may take longer than some.

Yup, I just took another look at the listing and that box is checked.
