+geognerd
If all you're going to do is geocache and do your Map Corps stuff, your 210 will do just fine. I've found hundreds of caches and located hundreds of structures with my eXplorist 100, 210, and 400. If you plan on loading detail maps onto your GPSr, you'll want a color screen. The edge goes to Garmin for autorouting. Someone will come in and scream about how great the SiRF-equipped Garmins are, but robertlipe's experiment shows the eXplorists perform about as well. In summary, your 210 is plenty good enough to do what you say you want to do. If you still want to upgrade and have liked your eXplorist so far, you will like the eX500. Besides better customer service and autorouting, I don't know if the 60Cx is worth the $150 premium. Your $400 cap isn't going to leave much money for maps if your purchase the 60Cx, and if you aren't going to load maps, the 60Cx might be overkill. Quote Link to comment
