SistaSage
I see a lot of SD and IE Geocacher groups, but none near me I'm in Rancho Santa Margarita, CA... is there anyone close enough to meet up on week nights or weekends for some hunting? Here is my myspace too: http://www.myspace.com/sistasage I haven't actually gone geocaching yet, but I have done all my homework Quote Link to comment

Is there a reason why there's almost no SD activity at http://www.socalgeocachers.com/ where there's a specific SD category, and instead everyone's on this forum where its a broad US W/SW category? SistaSage
thanks, but still no real "local" people, the closest person I saw was like 40 minutes from me Quote Link to comment
+Dave_W6DPS
Actually, the SoCal Geocachers group has a number of active folks in and around Rancho Santa Margerita. You might want make a post in the new member area there. I pass nearby every day on Hwy 74, but only occasionally check this forum. I live in Lake Elsinore, work in San Clemente, and cache in both general areas. There are frequently events and group caching in South OC, usually publicized on SoCalGeocachers.com. unfortunately you missed on the day after Christmas, GCZP2Y, but there will probably be another one shortly. That page does have the logs of local cachers who attended. Any question that I can help with, let me know. Dave_W6DPS Edited January 4, 2007 by Dave_W6DPS Quote Link to comment
