Bart26
Any comments are welcome..... I will be a first time GPS owner. A good friend of mine has introduced me to the fun of geocaching. He uses a Legend. From caching together, and chatting about what he would get on his NEXT unit, I've figured to start where he would go to next......ehnce the choice is narrowed to the 600 or the Vista CX. Any good or bad comments on either unit are welcome and needed....since this will be my first unit. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
Dragonmaster13
I'd peronally go with the Vista CX, but if you can afford a little more than that the 60CSX is even nicer due to the sirf chip. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
Both are good units. I think Garmin's icon driven interface is easier to use than Magellan's, but I like Magellan's triaxle compass. Of course there is the question of customer service. Magellan's rep ranges from poor to abysmal, while Garmin customers routinely report outstanding service. Finally if you are planning on using the unit for driving directions, the Garmin navigation software is much better than Magellan's. Quote Link to comment
