Firth of Forth Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 "A project so pointless as to be vital to our national well-being." says a review. Hmm....could say that about caching as well, I think. Quote
Dorsetgal & GeoDog Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 What a scream, a particularly thoughtful pressie; even if it is tongue in cheek. Like FoF, I rather liked this critique in the review: ‘Exquisitely dotty, yet irresistibly charming. A project so pointless as to be vital to our national well-being.’ Stephen Fry It really does sound like geocaching! Quote
JustAlan Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Got it for Christmas as well. Great book. Quote
Simply Paul Posted January 1, 2007 Posted January 1, 2007 Just ordered mine, and a copy of Z to Z of Britain, from Amazon. Hope it lives up to the hype Quote
pirate_matt Posted January 2, 2007 Posted January 2, 2007 I got that book a while ago and it is great. It has some really funny lines in it! I would love to visit all the places and find the nearest caches. so far though I have only managed one! I'm sure theres the oppotunity to create a bookmark list for someone with more time on their hands then me!! Quote
