Multi cache Christmas present hide

We made my son work for one of his presents. It was a soft sided guitar case and was too darn big to wrap. Just for fun, I went around and set three waypoints in my GPSr in various parts of the street where we live, hid micros with written clues and the next waypoint, finally ending with a puzzle clue that led him to his room where we had put it when he was running around the block staring at the GPSr.

 

I think the grandparents who were watching enjoyed it more than he did!

I have heard of similar caches where they started out being someone's birthday present and turned into a published GC.com geocache (minus the actual present) once they were found by the intended recipient. Granted, you'd probably not want it to end up in someone's bedroom if you did it that way....

I hid presents for each of my adult kids in my computer room (which is well cluttered) and made up a "poem" for each similar to a letterbox clue.

 

We all had fun.
