+lakelady
I got waders for Christmas, so I am almost set to tackle Manunka Chunk Tunnels. Just need a very very bright light. Quote Link to comment
+ThreeTrees
How about 15 Million Candle power? That should be bright enough. http://tinyurl.com/yl6urf You just have to finish in 45 minutes before the battery dies. Quote Link to comment
+trowel32
Aah..its not that bad - I walked almost halfway in without a light on. But its probably good to have one to negotiate that deep mucky section. Of course I cheated and went in the back door way, so I was able to explore as little or as much as I wanted to of the tunnels Quote Link to comment
+Wayfinders
Unless those waders were made by Old Town I just might wait a bit after this rain . And if I were to do that tunnel again....I'd use a simple headlamp. That will get the job done. Creepy in there with all the collapses....I'd be leary of all that water weight above! But that's just me . BUT BEWARE The.......yada-yada-yada......y'all heard it before. Best cache ever so far. Quote Link to comment
+Natureboy44
Cool cache, i remember it well. One of my favorites! Quote Link to comment

+nikcap
I love this cache. But don't cheat! You gotta go through the tunnel!!! Quote Link to comment
+Harry Dolphin
Who you calling a cheat? We bushwhacked in from Sarepta Road, found the cache, and signed our log! We earned our smiley! We experienced the tunnels from the south end. Going through them should be a 5* terrain! Quote Link to comment

We experienced the tunnels from the south end. Going through them should be a 5* terrain! Anyone can bushwhack! But it's not every day that you get to walk through some old, abandoned RR tunnels. HD, You know I'm just bustin' chops. (I don't believe there is really cheating in Geocaching or solitary) In actuality, those that chose to climb over the tunnels are really crazy. That's some serious terrain and bushwhacking. Anyway, I'd love to join a party that goes for this one. I've been back there three or four times since I found the cache, it's too cool. +Team Divi Divi
This looks interesting, let me know when your thinking of going. Interesting pics on the cache page gallery. Quote Link to comment
+Harry Dolphin
Actually, the bushwhack in was easy, mostly along a dirt driveway. Our mistake was trying to follow the train line on the way out. We went through a field, and fell into a swamp! We should have gone out the way we went in! Nasty blackberry bushes! Knew you were busting chops. Quote Link to comment
Guyute1210
This one will take you through an old R&R tunnel. I've been through that tunnel, and the one on the other side of the trestle. This one is a nice dry (other than dripping water), and has a great view. Train Trestle Falls That one looks like a blast. Maybe if I ever get to Jersey, I'll look that one up! +Team Beavage Cleavers
Great cache! Make sure you look for the albino crawfish! We took one tunnel in and the other out. We wanted to get the full effect Quote Link to comment
+Woodlit
Lakelady- If you want to try them out (nothing hard) on some easier test caches, i've got two that require waders. One in the Allamuchy park area, and another in Mahlon Dickerson Reservation. GC107TT GCZQ5Y Quote Link to comment
