+FerrisFamilyof5
anyone heard of something like this? my father in law owns a good chunk of property in the southern tier of NY. with his cabin that will sleep around 18 people. what i propose is placing 12 caches on the property and have 4 teams of 4 hunt them in a specific order and time them. see who does best and give rewards. sound interesting or is it being done under a different name? any feed back would be great. +Isonzo Karst
Here in Florida there's an annual event where part of the activities is a timed cache run ~ 12 or so caches along 5+ miles of trail, plus other targets (numbered to match team numbers) that have to be picked up. Event 2nd event Quote Link to comment
+wesleykey
This might be a nice activity at an event, but I personally don't care for the timed "races". Quote Link to comment

+TheAlabamaRambler
Go for it! I have taken part in at least a dozen events like this, some lasting days and incorporating up to 200 caches. All were fun. Ed Quote Link to comment
wolfbait
I might be willing to participate... If I ever get time... might be better in the summer Quote Link to comment
