i remember reading on boxing day last year of the record breaking cache day on christmas day. just wondered if any planned this year? or are they top secret?

It's generally not wise to publicise record attempts in advance, as it's very easy to be thwarted by factors outside your control.

 

Personally I have no plans to do any more records this year.

Yes we have. I did think about telling everyone about my record attempt at Christmas shopping by starting at 4:30 on Christmas eve, shaving a whole 45 minutes off last year, but it had nothing to do with Geocaching.*

 

On an actual Geocaching subject it would be nice to know what is going on with a record attempt throughout the day on Christmas day, should one happen, but there is no need to know exactly what it is until then.

Any cachers around in Newcastle in the festive period? I have a geocaching proposal to put to you (and apologies in advance for the f*rting!!).

 

The current record of eating 43 sprouts in a minute was set by Dave Mynard in London in December 2003.

I'm going for a record ... most caches completed using a wheelchair, and I double dog dare ya to break it!

 

Break the record that is, not my wheelchair (I already do that on a regular basis; last month had to have the frame welded back together).
