+Rose_Thorn
Just wondering, because I put a new cache out over a week ago and no-one has found it yet...it's not like it's out in the backwoods or anything...although...actually, it is Bury... Quote Link to comment
+Write and Mane
We had a FTF today and it was definitely better than Christmas Shopping!! Quote Link to comment
+Dorsetgal & GeoDog
No contest, caching wins every time! That's why I was out caching on the busiest shopping day! Quote Link to comment
EagleOwl
I had a similar dilema the other day - a FTF within walking distance of the house OR my daughters school Xmas concert Cliffe Challange Not sure whether I felt any beter when I tipped off my other half, Geoffenator and he picked up the FTF!! +The Bolas Heathens
A FTF without a question (absolutely hate Christmas shopping). It's #2 on our closest to home not founds and if we lived vaguely close to it instead of 56.5 miles away we'd be at it like a shot Quote Link to comment

Caches dont last a week across here.... but this is Yorkshire... you are on the wrong side of the pennines in Lancashire !!! Happy Christmas to all.... lakeuk
I'd say the main reason someone hasn't rushed out to FTF your cache yet is because it won't be fully on everyones radar as being a new cache as it was enabled on the 7 December, but it's listed as being hidden on 4th November. +The Bongtwashes
150 miles away... Hmmm, a bit far for a Sunday before breakfast, or a quick lunchtime trip, even for me . Quote Link to comment
+*mouse*
Definately caching..... Unless you can find a few urban micros at the same time or you happen to be out shopping for GPS stuff! Quote Link to comment

+pirate_matt
I think caching is the way forward. I picked up a FTF this morning. it's much better being out on a quiet peaceful walk then pushing your way through crowds of peoplr in the shops!! Quote Link to comment
+Mr'D
What's more important?, Christmas shopping or an FTF? Are you SERIOUS???????? Quote Link to comment
+Rose_Thorn
Hehe...well. thanks to Langden my new cache no longer has to bear its shame! I now have a dilemma myself - write Christmas cards or go out caching....hmmm, let's get those co-ordinates on the GPSr then.... Quote Link to comment
+stora
I hate all the rushing around and the pushing and the shoving. As well as the car parking spaces being full. Well that's whats its like trying to get a FTF around here. Give me Christmas shopping any time Quote Link to comment
+Haggis Hunter
I'd say the main reason someone hasn't rushed out to FTF your cache yet is because it won't be fully on everyones radar as being a new cache as it was enabled on the 7 December, but it's listed as being hidden on 4th November. This is a good point. The date that gets put on the page is the date that you first make the page up. If it takes over a month to get it all sorted before you submit it, the only people that will get it flagged as being published are those that have insta notifies activated for the area. The generated bot that comes weekly relies on the date on the cache page, if it's not classed as a new cache because of an old date, it won't flag up in that email either. So if you have a cache page that has taken a while to put together, make sure you change the 'date placed' before submitting it. Caching comes before shopping for me too, it's a lot cheaper. +currykev
Easy....caching is the answer.I can do my shopping at the same time as I log onto this site.Happy Xmas from Currykev thanks to Amazon.co.uk ....(I apologise for the blatant plug) Quote Link to comment
+kewfriend
an FTF! I'm trawling around to see if anyone wants to pop over to Annecy via Geneva for the day to do a Puzzle FTF (which has been around since October) - up in the hills. Much more fun than shopping. GCYXXJ - if anyone else wants to try and work it out! Drop me an email if you're as mad as I am. Edited December 18, 2006 by kewfriend Quote Link to comment
