Son of Cyclops
We were thinking of making 250 coins trackable for our family. The coin set would be 3 coins that are magnetic and would stick to each other to make one big coin. There will be 3 coins, one for each of us, and the set will sell for $30.00. We don't want to make it if there is not enough demand so how many of you want this coin set? Quote Link to comment
+MustangJoni
I'd have to see the art before I could say... Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
How are you solving the magnetic problem? Typically coins are made of bronze which is non ferris and non magnetic. You would have to glue one in, or find a different coin material which is more expensive (normally). Quote Link to comment
Son of Cyclops
Magnets can be set into all the coins to hold to each other and some rough artwork will be on its way soon. Quote Link to comment
+MustangJoni
I can't wait to see it. With that name, you could really do an interesting coin! Quote Link to comment
+AtwellFamily
Set of 3 for $30 seems steep. Even with the extra cost of the megnet and such. $10 a coin would be on the expensive side and a set usually makes it cheaper. Would each coin have its own tracking number and when you say 250, is that of each coin or 250 sets? Quote Link to comment
Son of Cyclops
Each will be 1.5" to 1.75" in size and each coin would have its own symbol and tracking number which makes the price go up. The magnets aren't very cheep either, and since there are 2 mangets a coin instead of only one, that increases the price. This is a start of coins I am going to be making that has something important about me, or something important that has happened to me. Quote Link to comment
avroair
It's hard to say yes or no since there is no artwork, can you please provide a little more info. (even if it's really tentative) Tracking? Icon? Metals? Size? Quote Link to comment
+creacher
I agree in that it is hard to decide without artwork, however the idea behind things is VERY intriguing. Cant wait to see what you have in mind. Quote Link to comment

Son of Cyclops
This is being talked over with my family. We want to see how things would look like and my dad is a little concerned with making the coin. We will see what happens. Quote Link to comment
+Kealia
No thanks. Nothing personal, but I don't typically buy personal coins. Quote Link to comment
Son of Cyclops
We are thinking of holding this coin off for a bit and start with a different idea of mine. The other idea is a Michigan shaped coin set (2 coins) That have the MiGO logo and info no the back. Michigan is my home state and the geocachers here are the most kind people I have ever met so far.
