Binnecard
Hi there, I'm doing an assignment on Geocaching in Australia, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where I might be able to find out the following information: When and where in Australia the first Geocache was placed. How many geocaches there currently are in Australia (approximate, I realise that it's changing all the time)? How many registered Australian's actively participate in geocaching today (again, an approximate figure would suffice)? Thank you for any help you can give me, Danny Quote Link to comment

Aushiker
G'day You should be able to get the answers to most of your questions at http://geocaching.com.au/ and stats at http://www.caughtatwork.net/geocaching/graphs/ Andrew Quote Link to comment
+Big Matt and Shell
Andrew, The first cache in Australia is GC3E - Lane Cove. If you read the logs, you will see that it originally started as a normal cache and has become a virtual. As to the rest of your questions I'm sorry I cant help. Cheers, Matt Quote Link to comment
