+FluteFace Posted December 11, 2006 Posted December 11, 2006 Once we get past the upcoming birthday (heaven forbid Chirstmas interferes with a birthday!) our tree will go up and it will have seasonal geocoins on it. I've been setting them aside as they've arrived. After Christmas, I'll put them in a special coin album and tote them off to the local geocaching holiday party and share the coin/icons for discovery of little gifts of the season. Quote

For the past couple of years, a local cacher (identity unknown to us) has stocked a pine tree in the forest, where he has a cache, with home-made caching ornaments. I have one from each year. It's been a really fun experience to go check it out and see what's up there every year. We believe! Quote

Okay, we have the occasional santa, but we don't really put the geocoin on the tree... Of course we DO put geocoins in the stockings... that's different. Quote
